A business built on products you own, on platforms you control. It started with a lesson I paid for.

In 2013 I started a blog called Redefining Mom® while I was still in corporate marketing. By 2014 I had sold my first digital product, a family budget spreadsheet, and within two years that side business was out-earning my salary. I quit in 2016 and built the whole thing on Pinterest marketing education. Then Pinterest went public in 2019, changed the rules overnight, and most of what I had built stopped working in a single quarter.

That is where Empowered Business™ comes from. I made one rule: never again depend on a platform I do not control. So I teach the version of this business that survived. Products you own. A shop that sells while you sleep. Funnels and an email list that go with you anywhere. And since 2024, AI as the infrastructure that lets one person run all of it.

Today that is a podcast, a newsletter, a free community, a paid implementation community, two signature programs and a shop with more than a hundred products. They all do one job: get your expertise out of your head and into something people pay for.

I live in Buffalo, New York with my two daughters. I rebuilt this business as a single mom, and I run every brand you see here without a team. If a system cannot survive a school pickup and a Bills game, I do not teach it.
